Singer Cheryl Melody Baskin shares a personal message and mantra with us

Melody” wishes to join us all day during World Happiness Day on March 20th. Time differences make this impossible during life sessions online. So she decided to share a recorded message that can be combined with her song “One Planet” of which she provided us with the lyrics as well. Below please find the personal message/mantra, the One Plant song and the lyrics. We suggest you use this to engage people or include it into learning and engagement processes. Melody also provided us with the script of a “peace play for children” that can be downloaded from amazon.

CHORUS:
We’re all one people
All one nation,
All one planet,
Together we can live.

Verse 1: We’re all the colors of one rainbow
All the feelings of one heart
All the music of one voice
Let’s reach for a brand-new start.

We’re all one people
All one nation,
All one planet,
Together we can live.

Verse 2: Lots of struggles are the same for all of us
Each other’s hearts we really do know
We’re all connected with each other
Remember that, and don’t feel low.

We’re all one people
All one nation,
All one planet,
Together we can live.

Verse 3: Show your kindness to each other

Know that we are one
There’s magic in caring for another
Your love shines like the sun.

We’re all one people
All one nation,
All one planet,
Together we can live.

Verse 4: Sing this song to each other
Dance with joy hand in hand
We’re everybody’s sister and brother
So strike up the One Planet band! (return to chorus)
